Biography: Attorney Xavier Saunders is a 5th generation resident of Jacksonville, Florida-his family has resided in Duval County since 1900. He graduated from Edward H. White High School (Jacksonville) in 1995 and the University of South Florida (Tampa) in 2001. In 2006, he received his law degree from Florida Coastal School of Law (Jacksonville). While in law school, Atty. Saunders served as a law clerk, for 2 years, at a general practice law firm, which specialized in Personal Injury, Family Law, Probate/Wills and Consumer Law. As a third year law student, he volunteered student pro-bono hours at the Jacksonville Hubbard House, which serves victims of domestic violence. Atty. Saunders began private practice with a local insurance defense law firm, where he devoted much of his time to drafting complex motions and appellate briefs which involved the defense of complex commercial litigation and multi-million dollar lawsuits. Afterwards, he joined a firm where he represented Plaintiffs' with personal injuries. Atty. Saunders also practiced in the firm's family division, helping families facing divorce, child custody/visitation and support proceedings and numerous other familial issues. Atty.
